Even as the murder of Neetu Solanki whose body was found in a bag at New Delhi Railway Station in February is yet to be solved, another case of a body of a woman being parcelled in a trunk from the national Capital to Ajmer in Rajasthan has surfaced, putting a question mark on various agencies, including the role played by transport company that facilitated the dispatch of the box.

The Rajasthan Police and Delhi Police are jointly conducting an inquiry to identify the body and the motive behind such a ghastly crime. There is no 'oncrete evidence'so far in the matter, according to DCP North SS Yadav.

Some footage captured on a CCTV camera is being investigated. No FIR has been registered in Delhi so far regarding this. The case could be transferred to the Delhi Police if the deceased is discovered to be a resident of Delhi.

It is suspected that the deceased was a resident of Delhi and was murdered here before being parcelled. The body has been kept at Kishangarh Government hospital, according to Narendra Singh, SHO, Madanganj police station in Ajmer. No breakthrough has been made in the brutal murder of the young woman, whose body was recovered on Friday evening in a large parcel box at Kishangarh town in Ajmer district.

The body of the woman, said to be aged between 22 and 25 years, was dispatched through a Delhi-based transport company, Milap Transport Roadlines in a tin container which was covered with sacks and tied by an iron chain. The face was completely charred to hide identity.

Beside, the body which was lying bare and covered with carton sheets, bore several stab marks. The body has not been identified so far. Efforts are on to identify the deceased, yadav said.

According to police, primary investigation revealed that in the parcel receipt, the sender has been named as B and the receiver as Self.The dispatch date, March 31, has been overwritten as April 2. On the receipt, it was mentioned that the parcel had some electronic goods and the receiver would collect the parcel from the transport company at Kishangarh.
